Standard Cleaning in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn

Standard Cleaning for Boerum Hill Homes

The Italianate and Greek Revival row houses on Boerum Hill's side streets have kept their original floors, trim, mantels and plaster, and many have been renovated at the back into open kitchens with glass doors onto a garden. A Standard Cleaning here uses a neutral soap on the old floors, a soft cloth on trim and plaster, non-abrasives on old tile, a squeegee on the garden doors and a pH-neutral cleaner on a new stone counter. For a whole house we cover every floor and send two cleaners so it's done in one visit.

Every visit sanitizes the kitchen — counters, stovetop, sink and appliance exteriors — and scrubs and disinfects each bathroom. Floors are vacuumed and damp-mopped, every reachable surface dusted from shelving down to baseboards and radiator covers, mirrors and interior glass wiped, trash taken out, beds made and living areas tidied. In a household with children we pay particular attention to high-touch surfaces and can work fragrance-free if you'd prefer.

Boerum Hill households tend toward recurring plans on a fixed weekday, and most aren't home when we clean — a key or lockbox is all we need and every cleaner is trusted and vetted. We schedule seven days a week including early mornings and evenings at the same rate. The flat rate depends on bedrooms and bathrooms only, with no stair fee, and anything missed is re-cleaned free within 24 hours.

Pricing is a flat rate confirmed before we arrive — use the instant estimator for a range in seconds. For everything this service covers and how we approach it, see our Standard Cleaning page, or read more about cleaning in Boerum Hill.
